This is a special edition soundtrack CD to the 1983 film, "Dr. Detroit", a goofy, nerd meets pimps meets college professor meets prostitutes meets crime bosses kind of film... very eighties and very weird comedy!
The original soundtrack was released on LP and cassette for a limited time. Seven-inch and twelve-inch dance versions of the theme song were released. There was no compact disc issue. There remains no reissue of any kind and the soundtrack remains out-of-print.This special edition soundtrack collects the original nine song soundtrack and adds three more songs as heard in the film, two dance remixes and a demo of the theme song.Sound is fantastic.1.
