A soundtrack for the film FAST TIMES AT RIDGEMONT HIGH was released worldwide on two LP’s and  a single cassette. A special promotional, six-track,  black and white checkered picture disc was also issued to DJ’s at radio stations. The soundtrack debuted on CD in the mid 1990’s. The original double album, cassette and CD contained nineteen songs. This special edition contains twenty-seven tracks plus two bonus songs written for the film, but unissued.
